United Way of Scioto & Adams Counties is the Community Solutions Provider which provides support and funding to community based organizations.United Way helps agencies become self-sufficient in order to better meet the needs of the community.United Way currently funds 6 Member Agencies in Scioto County: Catholic Social Services, Community Partners of Shawnee Mental Health, Community Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing, SMC-West End Child Care, SOTFDV and The Counseling Center.United Way also funds 4 Member Agencies in Adams County: Adams County Shelter for the Homeless, Enhanced Education for Pregnant and Parenting Teens, Manchester Educational Foundation-School Based Health Center and Manchester Educational Foundation-Local After School Program.
