Day One offers two (2) Ohio Recovery Housing (ORH) certified sixteen (16) bed women's and sixteen (16) bed men’s houses provide a social model of structured recovery with twenty-four (24) hour peer support staff to manage all residents’ individual needs. Day One provides both informal and formal structure to include life skills advancement, occupational preparation, resident counsel, as well as 12-step recovery meetings on and off-site, additionally providing transportation to and from treatment, scheduled community recovery meetings, and places of employment. Day One also works with residents to regain visitation and custody of their children, working with child services workers, probation/parole officers, and collaborating with other treatment providers.In addition to the two (2) ORH certified recovery houses, Day One has on the same city block fourteen (14) additional two-three (2-3) bedroom homes that are currently being utilized as the equivalency of level I recovery housing, allowing residents the ability to seamlessly phase out of the level III houses. Residents are empowered by having access to a more independent living situation while maintaining the safety, security and accountability of being a part of the entire recovery campus, keeping them even closer to their recovery goals and the social model of peer support.
