Child Focus incorporated in 1977 under the direction of Jim Carter, Founder and CEO, and a dynamic volunteer Board of Directors who aggressively sought quality services for the children and families of Clermont County. Child Focus was awarded Federal Head Start preschool funding and expanded our children’s mental health services in 1982.Today, Child Focus continues to be embedded and woven into a regional community infrastructure and serves as a safety net with relationships with juvenile court, child, family and adult services, law enforcement, child care centers, schools and medical providers. Over the course of four decades, the breadth and scope of mental health and early learning services has expanded in response to evolving community needs, a process which continues today.
