JOG (Jobs for Ohio's Graduates) Appalachian Ascent is a grant-funded initiative that focuses on improving workforce development in Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull Counties. By focusing on high-demand sectors such as manufacturing and healthcare, the initiative aims to create family-sustaining jobs that offer stable, predictable wages of at least $15 per hour, aligning with the Good Jobs Principles. Free Services for Participants (Ages 18+)JOG provides comprehensive support to participants through skill assessments, barrier removal (including transportation assistance), and customized training programs designed to enhance employability.
